Welcome !

I have been a cartoonist, illustrator and freelance
writer for over 25 years, working under the name of

Nicky Taylor.

I was the resident Artist for
The Yorkshire Post in Leeds
and before that The Star newspaper,
one of South Africa’s leading dailies.

Where I provided daily cartoons
and illustrations
for 12 years.

Drawing & Illustration

As a freelancer, I have worked for most
major UK publishing houses
and
have been commissioned by such clients
as the BBC and Radio 4.

Corporate

Caricatures and humorous cartoons are ideal
for presentations, farewells or for the boss
who has everything!

Previous clients include Deloitte, Balfour Beatty, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and the BBC.

Cartoons

I create
all types of cartoon and illustration
for magazines, book publishing, editorial,
web sites or even personal or corporate gifts.

Gift caricatures

Caricatures are great as original presents
for special occasions.
They generally come in A4 or A3, colour or
black and white, but can be done any way you like.

They are painted by hand to order and
are not computer generated.

How it’s done

Please call or e-mail me initially to
discuss ideas and requirements.
Then send (preferably by e-mail a few good
photographs that are a true likeness of the person.
Also list any idiosyncrasies or things you
would like shown:
